Hello everybody,
I just bought a Voyager, but unfortunately the Release knob in the volume envelope section, as well as the release switch on the left hand side have no effect on the envelope, which means that when i stop pressing a key the sound stops, whatever is the setting.
Has anyone ever had this issue before ? Is it possible to solve without having to send it back to the factory ?

There’s a rocker switch above the wheels on the left that will turn it on. That’s how the original minimoogs operated.
Have you tried turning the rocker switch by the wheels off then on ? If the patch was stored with the rocker in the off position it will be off, even if the rocker is on when you select the patch. If that does not solve the problem, call Moog they will be able to tell you what to trouble shoot. It’s possible one of the connectors in the wheel assembly came lose.

Yes, unfortunately that’s the switch i was refering to (i didnt know it was called a rocker switch, thanks for improving my vocabulary). I tried a lot of things, including rebooting the system but nothing happened.

Sorry you are having trouble. Call or email Moog it may be a simple fix. With it being under warranty I don’t want to give advise on what to try .
Well, i let it powered on all night long and today it’s working, so it probably just needed to warm up.

Glad it’s working. I would still contact Moog about it. those switches should work right away, starting to work after it warms up probaly means there is a lose connection in the assembley which most of the time is an easy fix… but still contact them about how to go about it .
