I saw this thread for the Little Phatty ReKon VST Editor and was wondering how many people would be interested in ReKon making a VST editor for the Voyager.

If ReKon see’s an interest in it they’ll produce it for sure.

ReKon Site

As far as I know, the LP Rekon VST is still phantom-ware. Not to be found on Moog’s, audiomidi’s and even Rekon’s own web site.

I’ll take a PolyMoog to go along with that.

I talked to rekon through email and all they could do is tell me to check with audiomidi or moog. :unamused:

I just want a simple and intuitive editor for the Voyager.

The ‘get patch’ function is for me.

i would love to see even just a simple cc plugin so i can use the automation lanes in ableton. but i vote yes.

Well the LP editor is finally available:

No. If I wanted to program synths on my computer I wouldn’t bother with such expensive hardware.

If you’re using a DAW aren’t you already programing your hardware with cc automation?

I guess it’s unnecessary if you don’t work in the digital realm.

Honestly though, I really only want the ‘get patch’ function, and am willing to pay. MIDIOX just doesn’t cut it for me.

Call this a crazy idea but for owners of Old Schools, I’d like something that can read SysEX Patch pulls and translate that into knob settings for Benard’s OS Patch Memorizer?

Have you asked Benard about that?

I’d like to but he doesn’t have an email addr posted in his profile and I have no idea how to contact him (both links in his prior posting for the binaries have gone bad as well). Any help in contacting him would be appreciated.

Thanks

I think that it would be a good idea. However, I can see the business complications of it since Moog already have an agreement with Soundtower.com for an editor. Maybe Soundtower could do a Mk II with an upgrade discount for current owners of the editor.

With that said, there are some hosts which aren’t very good, or outright don’t supprt, MIDI out in a plug-in.
