Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone could help me out. I’m looking for a mono that can do good “sci-fi” type sounds and also do some killer bass lines. Could someone please tell me how the rougue stacks up against the prodigy? What are their strong/weak points ect. Thanks.
the prodigy is way better. but if you just want to make “sci-fi” sounds, a rogue is fine.
on the cheap end, an mg-1 does pretty cool ‘sound effects’ stuff too. theres one on craigslist in NH for 200bucks
The Prodigy is way ahead in flexibilty (if you buy a Mk2) and construction. It sounds far more ‘musical’ too, but the Rogue is often cheaper and has white-noise… essential for those sci-fi sounds!
