I have a Prodigy that seems to have a blown Osc 2.
Osc 1 seems to work fine…however when I turn down Osc1…there is just a faint crackly sound coming from Osc 2.
Anyone have any idea what the problem is and how I might fix it? Also someone who knows nothing about synths suggested “electronics cleaning spray” but I wanted to run this off of some people who know the equipment!

If you are not experienced with electronics, better search someone with the knowledge to repair this. Most likely this is nothing to fix by first time solder iron users.
Sorry to say, but several people killed their synth by doing some DIY.
And you might risk your health when opening the synth.
Just unplug it and don’t put any leaky caps in your mouth and you should be fine.
Unplugging and tracing the voltages of the oscillator to find the error is not working here at all. This is why you may harm your self. But if you are able to see the voltages without plugging the main in, your are the right one for this job.
