problems with my MF 104M Delay

I’ve been talking to Moog tech support, but haven’t really been able to fix this. . .

The LED for Delay time on my pedal has been pulsing slowly and slightly out of time with the tempo. The LED for the LFO rate behaves as expected, so it’s just a problem with this one LED. When I am using midi sync, the “Time” light stays solid orange without blinking at all, while the LFO Led keeps blinking and behaving fine. The sound is awesome, but I can’t use the LED to visually set a tempo when I’m supposed to be silent.

The most recent development is that, when playing my Voyager with the midi thru connected to the midi port on the Delay pedal, playing keys on the XL instantly turns on the pedal, even when it is on bypass mode.

Very erratic behavior. Perry at Moog just suggested I contact my dealer about maybe getting an exchange, but I bought mine back in June, so this is probably not going to happen. . . Any ideas/thoughts?

Thanks guys!

Maybe you can check in the MF-104M MIDI chart what CC can result in that behaviour and see if the Voyager transmits this particular CC while playing?..

Yep, did that last night. After changing the midi channel of the pedal, the voyager no longer causes the pedal to turn on. The problems with the LED for Time are still there though, I’ve been racking my brain on how to fix it, going through the manual over and over. . .

Worst case: I think your dealer can accept to exchange/repair your pedal. It’s under warranty, right? Worth trying if you cannot solve it by yourself.
