PROBLEM CALIBRATION MOOG LP

Hi, some time ago I bought a Moog LP, everything worked fine but I could tell that he was suffering problems of calibration and significant detuning. I tried to calibrate having good results, but once I turn it off erases all changes since the turn it again are the same calibration problems and detuning.

I can do? another firmware? please help

What model Little Phatty and what Firmware are you using? I would ensure that nothing was plugged into the Pitch In CV jack, set “Fine Tune” to “Auto” in the master menu, and then let the unit warm up for an hour or more in a room with a constant temperature. Then, after an hour or more, go into the calibration menu and perform the “Note Calibration”, followed by the “Osc 2 Calibration”, and followed by the Pitch Wheel Calibrations - in that order.

I’d leave the “Fine Tune” set to “Auto” from now on (unless you are plugging something in to the Pitch In CV jack - that can make it over-correct the tuning), and when I turn the unit on before playing (I allow 20-45mins warm-up time), I usually monitor the “Fine Tune” value (without clicking onto the value) to ensure it settles on note 60.00.

I hope this information helps!

From my personal experience and from the manual the calibration order is:

  1. Pitch Wheel
  2. Note Calibration
  3. Pitch wheel Amount
  4. Osc 2 Freq

The slim does not have a pitch wheel so skip number 1. I think OSC 2 and Pitch wheel amount can be switched without issue (just guessing they do not seem related), but if you have a stage or tribute you want to perform the pitch wheel calibration first so that it is correctly zeroed for the note calibration.
Definitely no CV sources plugged in as stated and fully warmed up. I have nothing plugged in when calibrating other than the power, no midi, no audio. After warmup and before calibration I turn autotune and manual tune off.
