Power Adapter Plug & Socket type?

Hello

Is there any point in purchasing a Moogerfooger with either a 110V or 220V power adapter? If the 220V power adapter has a plug for a T-Slot receptacle, it doesn’t make the 220V power adapter option compatible with a 3-Pin Australasian socket. What is the MF 220V power adapter plug type?

I usually just get other adapters (or use my own power supply). The 9VDC postive tip is uncannily common. But yes, it would make sense to know if you are ordering from Moog direct.

Any particular third party power adapter you have success using latigid on?

Heya

Heh, I just use ones I’ve accumulated over the years, some Sega some Uniden and also some from Dick Smith or Jaycar. They’re pretty basic really, so it shouldn’t matter too much which ones you buy. One thing: I’d probably steer clear of the switchmode variety, as they can wreak havoc with audio devices. You don’t have to go with 9VDC or regulated either, but try to get them close to this.

Have fun. I’ve just got a MIDI MuRF in the post, so there’s a redundant adapter which comes with it.

So the MIDI MuRF isn’t your first Moogerfooger latigid on? And the power adapters supplied have been 220V? Is that 220V Euro? I think I’ve found a solution for those redundant power adapters. World to NZ Converters

Hey

No, I’ve got a few 'foogers ; )

I buy my stuff from the 'States normally, usually Nova Musik. If you want a 220V adapter they charge an extra US$30, and it would probably be a Euro-type plug anyway.

The very few things I’ve bought from the Rockshop (are you in NZ or Australia?) have the PSU switched out for one from HFA.

Don’t know how much they would cost for one-offs, but it would probably be cheaper somewhere else.

Anyway, you might want to PM me if you need more info, these people don’t want to hear about obscure island nations , well I guess Australia is pretty significant, blah blah I’m tired.

Contrary to Banksy the South Island is the Mainland. Where Moorhouse had a vision to connect Lyttelton to Christchurch. And it’s along the banks of the Avon where my digital domain resides. A MiniMoog Voyager Old School will be my first true analogue subtractive synthesizer. Greenhorn. And the MF 104Z should be the next purchase. Anyways.

The Moogertron? Looks like MF-101, MF-103, MF-104Z, MF-107 FreqBox, MF-102, MF-105B and MF-105 to patch bay, yes? VX-351 & CP-251 into what?
