Post your tracks!

Hi was wondering what all you guys are making with your Little Phattys and Slim Phatys.
So just post an link to the songs!
Give feedback
My track: http://soundcloud.com/nerdrageofficial/nerd-rage-third-hour-orginal
I have used the LP to make most of the bass sounds and some of the FX`s.

Here’s my newest tid bit. LP, Murf, Simmon sds-400, SCI drumtraks, effects. Probably the heaviest thing I’ve done. I’m usually a bit more chill/spacey/poppy. I have an intro worked up on a seperate track, but the track uploaded begins full on.

I dug your track. It got me couch dancing
Could be the shitty speakers I listened to it on, but I usually like the bass synth a little bit louder in the mix. I like the kick a lot if the 1st section, same with the percussion in the 2nd, and I love how the percussion works with the bass synth in the section that begins at 4:09. Nice work.

Hey!

There is already a thread like this. Let’s keep our songs together in that one … it makes it so much more fun!

Here is mine:

The bassline was done with the Slim Phatty.

I’m using the Little Phatty and Reason to make some musics. If you’re interested, check out Theme of the Synesthesian.

yeah, yeah, yeah!!! :open_mouth:  :open_mouth:

Hell yeah! Gotta love this :smiling_imp:

Here’s my latest creation which heavily relies on the LP (and I did a spaceship video for it too just for fun). It’s actually a ā€œremixā€ of sounds produced by the Large Hadron Collider, but a good proportion of the rest of it is LP. I just bought a Voyager, so this is probably the last exclusively LP tune I’ll make  . I’ve got some other tracks there on my channel which are also very heavily Phattified.

LHC for the win! Where did you get those sounds? This might well be the most impressive thing humanity has ever built! This song totally rocks too!! I forwarded it to a science blog, hopefully he’ll post it, it’s worth it!!

You, sir, have made my day :sunglasses:

Wow, thanks JWaltman. To be fair to everybody here, I’d better post this link: http://www.synthgear.com/2010/music-misc/remix-large-hadron-collider/

But the LP handled the lion’s share of the remainder of the sounds (as per normal in my electronic music… although now I have a Voyager, I’d better still give the LP baselines and crazy leads or it will surely feel jealous).

I totally dug System Exit. Nice music. I was disapointed and thrilled at the same time to read the LHC sounds were a sonification of raw data.

Here is an original piece I recorded today. Recorded with my first patch, just a simple one I put together.

Thanks! You are so right about the bass:P I will keep that in mind in my next track:)
LOVED your track! Strange but u got the analog feeling all over it, and analog is good;D

Whay to sick!;D

My newest creation.
Mainly bass with percussion. LP is kinda buried doing a higher pitched sound, Murf was very important in creating the bassline, MeeBlip was the source for the bass.

Sub woofer or rerally good speakers recomened

Used a lot of Little Phatty and Moogerfoogers on my last release.

#1: http://thestevenlasombras.bandcamp.com/track/they-poisoned-us-all
-Abrasive sound starting at 3:54 is LP through Freqbox, tweaking the Frequency knob.
-Keyboard layers at the end are LP and circuit-bent Casio SK-1.

#2: http://thestevenlasombras.bandcamp.com/track/i-know-youre-in-the-room
-used LP for bass throughout the track
-LP layers starting at about 4:10 are bass, the sort of distorted-cello-y sound is LP through a FreqBox, high notes through a MF-104, the sputtery octave effect mixed on the right side is LP through a Snazzy FX Mini-Ark.
Other keyboard layers: circuit-bent Casio SK-1 (through a Devi Ever Bit Mangler) and pump organ.
