The performance mode knob pushing for changing the presets pisses me off, cause if I rotate the knob while pushing (which can happen if things are happening fast) then it can cause serious trouble in getting back on track.
I think preset changing with a footswitch would be better or dedicated buttons on the phatty (any midi footswitches out there or something?)
ok, so I’ve found out that there are programable midi pedals that can send a desired midi msg, but in the LP MIDI Implementation Chart it is said that LP accepts Program Change as a true number 0-99 which is obvious. Is there a midi command that would make the LP step up/down in the performance set patch list?

To the best of my knowledge, there’s no MIDI command to simply increment or decrement patches/presets. 
Perhaps others here can suggest a workaround for you?
