old mini board #2---lil help needed Kevin L

Hi All , i have a board bought from Fred Mcniff back in the 90’s and it does not resemble the board as described in the mini service manual. The Ok test sticker # is 1017 and may be a serial #—if so then it’s an early board , but that’s a guess.
Here’s the link: http://www.earthsolutions-avonvalley.org.au/geoff.html
Any thoughts

It’s an R.A. Moog board…yes, an early Moog board. Anything with R.A. Moog on it is old.

It also appears to have some iffy solder joints.

The big difference on that board is the addition of a keyboard scaling adjustment in the right hand upper corner.
Most Minimoogs don’t allow one to tune the scaling of their keyboard.

And yeah, it’s old. Perhaps a prototype.

So THAT’S what that trimpot is for! If I had an R.A. Minimoog, I’d want that board for alternate tunings. Very cool! What’s interesting to me is the number of 5% resistors. I would think that they’d want to use more 1% resistors in there.

Thanks Kevin and Voltor for your replies . The board is up for sale and i hope someone out there has an old RA minimoog that can use it. Any funds raised go straight towards Kevins Opto keyboard thingy!
