I have a Roland EV-5 expression pedal, will it work with the minifoogers?
can’t give you too much advice on this because i too am new on the moog action ( also anxiously awaiting for my minifooger delay), but i can say that the roland ev-5 works on the regular moogerfoogers but the range of the pedal is not quite as wide as my moog ep2. i’m sure it’ll work with the minifoogers as well and probably with the same response as their bigger brothers???
Buy a Moog pedal, it’s even cheaper!
Ok, thanks.
A little update, I got a drive a few days ago. So far very happy with it, works great on both guitar an bass.
The EV-5 does work but the range is no doubt limited compared to the youtube videos I’ve seen where people use a moog pedal to control the filter cutoff.
EV-5 voltage is plus or minus 3, Moog EP-2 voltage is plus or minus 5, from which I conclude that EV-5 range is 60% of EP-2 range.
Sure about that? An expression pedal powered by a +5 volts supply (ring) can only provide positive voltage.
Pretty sure that’s the range, read it here I believe. I know the 3 and 5 volts figure is correct, checked before posting.
