I am able to control the Minitaur in Ableton with Push and get I sound - but only the sound currently set on the box’s rotary’s.
I cannot access any of the presets (manually via the key-combo or through Live’s External Instrument cc settings) nor does the Editor show a connection (a second problem), so changing the patch there also does not work.
As a stand-alone the Minitaur appears connected. The presets appear in the menu, however, switching them does not work. Manually changing the patch does not work. It appears that none of the presets are available on the box.
I am using Win 8.1, an Akai Synthstation25 as a (USB) MIDI controller and Push as a controller when in Live. I have updated the firmware using the included instructions and all the lights worked as predicted. I am using the current version of the editor.
New version of the Editor is working well according to another thread on this forum.
All registered Minitaur owners should get an email about it, probably on Monday.
