Why does this not have the pattern editor included in the VST? I Was excited about this until I read the manual, which does not indicate the inclusion of a pattern editor. I need the pattern editor to be included in the VST because I use linux (both avlinux 4.0 and ubuntu), which can handle VSTs, but does not run the standalone pattern editor. I want to be able to edit my murf’s patterns without spending $100+ on an operating system I don’t want and would use for no other purpose. (I know I’m not the only linux mooger, as I have come across other linux users in this forum.) All I ask is that moog include pattern editing in their VST, or offer a standalone editor which is linux friendly, java maybe? Or even a text based pattern editor? Or release the Murf’s syssexx protocol so that the linux community can to support itself?
Also, I would not have even posted this if I didn’t have faith in moog’s fantastic customer support, I simply wish they would direct just a little of it towards Linux users.
