newbie expression pedal question

I am a relatively new Moogerfooger owner. I have had a MF101 for a few years and recently bought a 104m. I would like to use a 4E Dual Axis Expression Pedal, made by Db Instrument Amps. It has 10k ohm linear pots in it. Will this work with my Moogerfoogers? Will I experience poor sweep or poor performance? The pedal is quite expensive and I do not want to be disappointed with it. Please help!

I really think you need at least 50k to 100k to get good use out of an expression sweep on the Moogerfoogers.

I think the Pigtronix Dual Expression is at least 20 or 25k and that would be better than 10k, but something like the Moog EP-3, MP-201, or even an EP-3 into a CP-251 for Multiple CV Output would be better than a measly 10k.

Why not buy a Moog EP?

I have 2 ep-3. They work great to be sure. I saw this pedal and it has 2 axis and 2 pots on each axis for 4 outputs from 1 pedal. I thought that would be pretty cool for my rig. The pedal though is expensive and has 10k ohm pots. Here is a link to the pedal:

You could try it and if it doesn’t work you could always take it apart and change the pots out for 50k or 100k.
