So… I’m reading through my downloaded copy of the Phatty manual (I just ordered a LP Stage II to go along with the Taurus), and I see that you can perform calibrations yourself without needing to ship the synth back to the factory every few years - how cool is that! Will the new Taurus have this feature? I hope so, it will save us owners many hundreds of dollars over the life of the pedals. I’m just foaming at the mouth to actually get mine. Meanwhile, the LP should be here next week to satisfy the Moog bass craving until my Taurus arrive.
It does! The Taurus has built-in calibrations for the Oscillators (Note Cal) and the Footwheels (VOLUME and CONTROL), so you can keep on playing for years to come!

It’s done and off to the printers. Shouldn’t be long before Moog starts shipping the highly-anticipated Taurus 3 to eager Moog fans everywhere! Of course, it also means that Taurus 3 support and resources will soon be available on KnobTweak. You can expect to see new patches, hints, tips, and other Taurus-related information to appear in the coming weeks!
