hi there, i just received my voyager rme yesterday. i´m fairly new to the voyager stuff.
i purchased the rme because i wasn´t happy with my studio electronics se-1x .
my question so far: it shows os version 2.6 on start-up.
does that mean i don´t have all the new presets? here they say
Now, all Rack Mount Editions will have the upgraded software and hardware to allow the player 7 banks of 128 presets and the following capabilities…
i think my new rme should have been shipped with os 3.0?
should i send it back to my dealer?
of course there will be new old stock floating. Maybe you could send it back, but without asking your dealerbefore purchasing you got the rme you paid for. Sorry if it sounds harsh.
It may have happened to somebody, but I doubt it. When Moog upgraded the product to version 3 they also increased the cost. I’d think it highly unlikely that you will get a version 3 RME for the old price.
