New LP Stage II Sync Lock feature

Is anyone else having trouble with this since uploading the new firmware?

I’m sending MIDI sync clock from Ableton to my Little Phatty Stage II, but the arpeggiator phase won’t stay locked. Toggling the “Sync Lock” on and off on the Moog control panel seems to fix it temporarily, but if there’s any kind of sudden tempo change, it will lose the phase again.

I hope I can resolve this! This is one of my favorite features of the new firmware. Thanks,

NH

Here’s what the v3.2 Firmware documentation says about the feature:

ARP SETUP: SYNC LOCK (OFF, ON). When ON, the SYNC LOCK parameter keeps the arpeggiator phase constant from the time the arpeggiator is started. When Sync Lock is OFF, new notes reset its timing.

It doesn’t specify whether it will stay consistent during sudden MIDI sync tempo changes, so I may be out of luck :-/

What I need and what the rest of the world needs (I guess) is to play with the arpeggiator in precise timing with the click/midi/backtrack. So the trigger points of my notes is in grid. But is this what the new sync lock feature do? Or do you play the first note a bit off and fucks the rest of the song up?
