lately it seems as though noone has been talking about what moog will release next. maybe there is a whole lot on the plate at the moment but i for 1 would definitely like to see some new moogerfoogers to round out the line up. personally i would like to see a flanger come down the line in the near future. does anyone else out there have any ideas or is everyone content on saving up until the end of the mayan calendar for the guitar?
if they come out with a bass, maybe I´ll start saving…
a sequencer in a cp-251 style enclosure would be nice. with foot operated tap tempo!

basically something like a voltage controlled mixer/panner/tremelo with stereo in and out which could be used to distribute/pan/modulate one signal to two outputs, two signals to one output or two inputs to two outputs. I’ll say a little more her about how such a thing could be used:
i would use something like this on both the input and outputs to my chain and multiple units could be a natural extension of the foogers into quad, surround and other multichannels environments. it would also allow for the further modulation of murf/phaser/delay outputs so they could move in more unpredictable ways.
on the inputs it could be used to VC mix between two VCOs or synths, or 2 completely different instruments
it could also be used in the middle of chain to pan the signal say between two filters, delay or ringmods with different settings - wild tempo based stereo morphing could be had.
any complex modular system with a bunch of LFOs, VCAs and VC mixers could be configured to do those jobs but I think to have it in a fooger would be truly amazing.
a flanger would have to be truly special for me to shell out for it, but then I never thought I would be interested in a analog phaser until I heard the 103!

F i’m totally with you on a VCMixer/Fader etc. essentially i would use it to set up multiple effects loops and it would have to have an output attenuator so i don’t blow the hell out of my gutiar amp. i’m currently in the process of building an effects set up which is to include the following:

MF-104Z Delay
Zero Point/Barber Pole Flanger (doesn’t exist) MF-106???
TM-5 Guitar PreAmp
TM-7 Scrotum Smasher
the TM-5 doesn’t have an output level control and neither does the TM-7 which also doesn’t even have a bypass. so the current plan is to get around that with a Boss LS-2 Line Selector. i’d rather not have to deal with uglifying my pedal board with something from Boss but until things change c’est la vie

moog is so close to having a modular at this point that they need to bridge the gap for people who are buying these units for this purpose. if nothing else they would have a market opening that wasn’t there before!

exactly, I am gradually replacing my modular with foogers. I haven’t touched a guitar in 25 years, in fact nobody I know using foogers plays guitar
its great that a modular can also be used in conjunction with the existing range but it would be great if the fooger range cover the basics a little better, whilst staying true to the fooger way of thinking, i.e. semi modular - integrated LFOs, VCAs, Envelopes and mixers, CV for everything that matters, unbelievably good sound with any knob in any position, yey!

4 Chan Audio Mixer (wired to VCA or bypassing VCA for multiple osc tracking)
All this is based on Moog system 55 circuitry and the Modern Moog company makes these circuits already with the exception of the Dual Trigger Delay. This fooger would provide some advanced synthesis AND give the RME owners who own the Cp and the Vx351&2 units a fourth cp251 style fooger to fill the hole in their rack.

Extended FIlter Bank perfect for instrument replication. Also of the system 55 family.

Exactly, I guess since modular synths is such a small niche when compared to guitars, Moog isn’t interested in going this route, it’s a shame because they are so close.
maybe so but i think that guitarists would like something like this as well… having the ability to say trigger the modular w/ a guitar is alone enough merit to justify it. a line mixer would really be great for alot of applications, so i hope in time they consider an addition to support true self-sufficient modularity in the moogerfooger product line.

Well you could have had a below elbow amputation which would have left us all with a ribbon controller that left a lot to be desired. THanks for specifying lolol.
I suppose…but that would make it difficult to play the LP. Not to mention bowling, playing the Wii, soldering, etc. Besides, I would NEVER suggest a ribbon controller that was less than 30cm long. Anything less than that would be useless! 
I would love - LOVE - to have the opportunity to buy a Moog chorus pedal. Of course, it would not be a simple two knob affair. It would have to have two chorus circuits with independent depth and rate knobs, a switch for parallel (stereo) or serial (mono) modes, and of course a couple of patch points in the back so that if the rate is set to zero the chorus delay time could be swept with a pedal, envelope, or similar CV input.
I’m waving $250 in your direction, folks.

That would essentially be two 104Z with some LFO features added, try putting a 1 before that 250, if not more…
I wouldn’t mind seeing the ability to get the delay time shorter than 50 mS so we could get some flanger effects going on… CP assisted of course
