…in the hands of a bad service-engineer.
yes, still in trouble with my prodigy…remember me?
I posted a message about a problem of keyboard click probably due to a bad setting of the VCA and/or bad conditions of the capacitors.
I found an engineer to fix it (and doesn’t “click” anymore…), but now, after the repair, I have other two problems…
The octavation of the keyboard is out of tune and the filter doesn’t auto-oscillate anymore…

I also had to re-tune the two oscillator myself (which was pretty crazy to me)…would this operation affect the keyboard’s octavation?
I got the service manual for the prodigy from internet, and it tells about a trimmer to be adjusted to set the 1volt per octave output of the keyboard, but before I open the case I would like to know if a bad tuning of the oscillators could affect the octavation of the keyboard…otherwise, I will try to set this trimmer in its proper position with a tester…or with my ears at least…

And how about the filter? Anybody knows how to get him back from its silence?

Thanks for any suggestions and tips you guys will give me…I am still in trouble with my synth, and just getting sick of it…just wanna play…please, help me…

Hi everybody…
A little update about my troubles on my prodigy:
The octavation of the keyboard was out of tune because I’ve tuned the oscillators in a wrong way…
Now this problem is fixed (it was easy with a guitar tuner), but the auto-oscillation failure of the filter remains…
Anybody knows how to get it back to its regular functioning?
Thanks…
Bye
