I spent the morning checking out the Bob Moog exhibit at the Museum of Making Music in Carlsbad, CA. It is well put together and covers a lot of interesting aspects of Bob’s life. I learned a lot about his history and the history of his inventions. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth checking out.
When I went there, it was a harp guitar exhibit. I just went because I wanted to try the theremin at end, and there were some lovely synthesizers near the end.
Well I guess ill have to wait until the Asheville spot opens up. Im definately going there. Nice vacation with the wife, though I think she probably will want a vacation from hearing about the Moog!

Wow - someone posted a link to my pics before I could get to it!
Anyway, it’s a great display. Saturday evening with Keith and Eric Norlander was a lot of fun. Larry Fast’s talk yesterday was great, too, and much more technical.
