MPC SAMPLER/MOOG VOYAGER ISSUE

Greetings…Anyone know how the hell this works…i have the mpc triggering the moog pefectly(midi in/out) yet it does not record all the events.. I am thinking just to sample the sounds straight out of the voyager(L/R out into mpc sample in) then by using MIDI…anyone have any ideas…much thanks
is there a way to test if i have everything set up correctly??
benefit/downfall to doing this…??
this is driving me crazy and prevented my total enjoyment in this unique machine

Much appreciated …frag  javascript:emoticon(‘:)’)

Hello,

I’m doing something similar. I use my MPC1000, connected to the Voyager via midi ins and outs. Then I record my performance on the Voyager. It works fine, I’ve never had the issue you speak of.

My MPC sometimes doesn’t record every cymbal hit I play when using drum kits…but that’s probably more an issue of the pads being tricky.

I’ve used my MPC to record voyager stuff via midi flawlessly though.

I wouldn’t bother sampling the Voyager – that would be really annoying. Keep trying to get it to work.
