MP-201 + Delay

Stupid question here. I just realized that with the MP-201 controller, I would be able to program different delay configurations that I can recall any time, right? I understand that this is within certain CV tolerances that are not exacting, but nonetheless this is pretty cool. With the MP-201, is it 1 program per button (4 in total) or can you program more and cycle between them somehow? Also can one button trigger multiple CVs, or would I be forced to program each parameter (Feedback, Delay, Mix) to a button and seperately control/recall them.

I think it would be optimal if one could program each of the 4 buttons to send a seperately specified CV to all parameters at once (a favorite setting) and then allow the treadle to control a prefered parameter within these presets. Dunno if this thing is this robust though.

Hope somebody can decipher my rantings.

While I’m not too familiar with the MP-201, I know there are Single and Quad modes.

*Single Channel Mode uses the footswitches to select programs, channels, turn on/off channels, select tap tempo function, enter tap tempo.

*Quad Channel Mode turns channels 1-4 on/off with footswitches 1-4 and uses the footpedal as an expression pedal for channels 1 to 4 simultaneously.

Hope that helps. If you haven’t found it already there’s also a great resource on http://www.moogmusic.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=10

In the MP-201 you got 50 presets, each having 4 channels (1-4). Each channel correspond to 1 cv output, so for each preset you have 4 cv outputs. If you want to program a preset for your delay you need to connect the cv out to the parameter you want to control.

When you set your preset you have the four channels set, don´t need to reprogram each time you recall that preset. You can set if the channel is on or off when you call that preset, and multiple other parameters, like the way the pedal works in each channel, the toe and heel voltages, etc.

I think it would be optimal if one could program each of the 4 buttons to send a seperately specified CV to all parameters at once (a favorite setting) and then allow the treadle to control a prefered parameter within these presets. Dunno if this thing is this robust though.

that`s precisely what the MP does each channel send the specified voltage to the parameter you want and you can program the way the treadle affects each of them, and many other things too…

hope that helps, cheers
