Mother 32 - SET END - Faulty ? HELP

HI all,

I believe I have an issue. The SET END key on my mother 32 doesn’t appear to do anything/is faulty.

When in STEP EDIT mode, when pressing the SET END key, regardless of how long the previous pattern is sequenced, the pattern will jump to 6 steps long, and pressing SET END + (step button 1-8) doesnt make any change to the pattern length.

Am I missing something ? Is this a known fault at all.

Its incredibly frustrating as I cant change pattern lengths properly and I#m beginning to lose faith. Please send help!
