When our friend started texting from Moogfest 2011, my wife and I decided we were definitely going to Moogfest 2012. I see the “Coming Soon” banner on the website but there’s no mention of dates. Can anyone confirm the festival dates? I’ve heard it should be the last weekend of October, but we want to get vacations locked in for the right time.
I don’t need to see a performers list because I have faith it’ll be great. I just need to know when to show up

Guess I just had to ask. Any thoughts on the best place to stay? Is there a “host” hotel? B&B sounds nice; is it in town? We want to be able to walk and stay in the thick of it.
here’s where we’ve stayed before on Asheville visits: http://www.princessannehotel.com/ very nice but still authentic vintage vibe, and they have a 4:30 to 6 free wine and cheese “happy hour” in the big parlor (with piano for whoever feels the urge)! we’ll be cabbing it or riding with local friends to the shows, and I’m making an effort to get a solo-with-drum-machine coffee house daygig too!
Thanks for the info. Sorry I didn’t reply sooner. That place looks really nice. We’ve decided to stay at the Renaissance as it’s right there (no need for rides) and actually cheaper. I bookmarked it though in case we can get back for a more relaxed visit.
