Hi,
I received my slim phatty and when i tried using it, noticed a very strange issue I need fixed asap - any help is very much appreciated.
I use ableton.
Basically, when I send midi to the slim phatty I can only get an output when 1 note is permanently pushed down and then i hit other notes.
For example, If i just push C3 on the keyboard (or draw it in on the piano roll) and hit play, it doesnt produce in output. However if I hold down C3 and then hit D3, E3…etc I can hear those notes, and it produces output and the slim phatty works perfectly. This is very weird because it means I cant play it normally via a keyboard.
My setup is as follows:
Ableton Suite 8, and have connected my Slim Phatty via USB, then connected a line from Slim Phaty ‘output’ to my ‘input 3’ on my motu ultralite. In ableton, I open up a new midi track, and place an ‘external instrument’ on the track. I then select Slim Phatty and to audio from input 3.
Does anyone know how I can test this further or why this would be happening:S?
