I intend to buy a Moog Sub 37 some time this year–it would be only my second hardware synthesizer and my first Moog.
Some companies have sales during the same time every year; being a fan of other instrument-makers like Teenage Engineering and Native Instruments, I know when they’ve historically had sales (and product releases), and can plan accordingly.
Could you tell me if there are certain times of the year where Moog tends to have sales/discounts?

They sold me a Voyager Select/VX351 for 2999.
They sold my father a Roland Fantom G8 for the same price.
That beats any sales price I have ever seen. Moog used to have a Grammy rebate sale, but they never announced such things and most retailers typically don’t.
I don’t have quite the temperament for negotiating, but since you spoke of your experience with it, perhaps I’ll give it a try. Though at least on their site, the Sub 37 is selling for the same price, $1.5k, as everywhere else.
