I have recently found myself in possession of a Moog The Rogue Analogue Synthesizer. Its actually a friends that im testing out for him. He told me there were some issues with it, which i found out almost immediately. As well as a crackly output (which i imagine could get re-soldered), the synth’s notes seem to be sticking as soon as the machine is switched on. I have tried playing with all the switches but still there’s no difference.
I was wondering if anyone on this forum new what needed looking at, or if a specialist is needed to repair it?
If it’s in the “keyed” position and notes are sounding all the time even if none are pressed down, there is something wrong with it. Either, one of the contacts on the keyboard for trigger signal is bent, or the trigger circuit is defective.
sorry i should of made it clear in my first post that not all the notes are playing, just one at a time. so u can play the notes but they stick after being played. Could the above problems be repaired on home premises, or would a professional restorer need to have it?
