I have been a Moog ONE 16V owner for a long time now. I am reaching out to other users about the stability of the latest update. I am always somewhat skeptical of updates…But some of the new sounds seem really good. I know this may be covered somewhere already but I haven’t been able to find it. I appreciate any opinions and views…Thanx
FWIW, when I first heard about the update via the group on Facebook, I was a bit skeptical too. I waited a couple weeks until they came out with a point release (or two?) to correct issues people reported, but once some time had gone by I updated and found it worked nicely.
I’m happy to report that you can choose which version of the firmware you boot to on startup too, so I’ve flipped back and forth several times testing how patches sound under the older version compared to the newer version. I think the latest and greatest update is absolutely the best version of the Moog One to use, even though I think others are still seeing some MIDI note-latching issues.
