HELP!
I CAN NOT MAKE TUNING OF MOOG MULTIMOOG!
I TUNED OSC B ,MORELESS…
BUT I CAN NOT TO TUNE OSC A!
THERE NO ENOUGH A RANGE OF OSC SCALE TRIM.I CAN NOT TO TOUCH HI NOTE BECASE LIMITE OF TRIP …!
WHAT CAN I DO.?
THERE TWO RESISTORS -ABOUT SCALE TRIM(47 kom)…MAY BE I NEED A CHANGE IT?

Make sure power supply is correct.
Concern yourself with making -15 accurate more than +15.
Warm up synth for at least 20 mins.
Make sure tuning control in rear is centered (12 o’clock)
Attempt tuning procedure.
If scaling is still off, make sure (as per the service manual) that the temperature setting is correct for the 3046 transistor array.
You can measure voltage on one of the pins listed in the manual and it should be set to -55mv. (do not even try without an accurate voltmeter- leave alone if so.)
If the instrument will not scale then, it may need repair or proper calibration of the temperature setting for the transistor array(s.)
Note: more and more common nowadays, Micromoogs and Multimoogs (which have a Micromoog main board in them) are experiencing problems with scaling, long warm up times and general tuning problems.
I don’t know precisely why, but I’d guess it’s the 3046 transistor arrays finally dieing.
Bottom line: make sure your power supply is accurate and that the instrument is warmed up for a long time before you try.

DEAR KEVIN! THANKS FOR YOUR DETAILED ANSWER ! BUT THE WAY I CAN’T TO REACH +15 and -15 VOLT IN POWER.
THE POT ON POWER BOARD IS TURNED TO THE MAX.
BUT ONLY 14,5 VOLT JUST HAD TOUCHED. IS IT NORMAL?
TO ADDITION , THERE NO ANY SIGN ON BORD .SO HOW I CAN GETTING FIND THAT TRANSISTOR 3046 ?
THERE NO PRINT BOARD IN SERVICE MANUAL…SO QUEST BECAME COMPLICATED FOR UNDERSTAND NOTHING

14.5 volts isn’t normal.
The instrument likely needs repair.
You need to have an experienced technician work on it.
Multimoogs can be very tricky to work on and I don’t suggest you attempt repairs yourself.

I FOUND A PROBLEM!
IT WAS A COUPLE CONDENSERS IN POWER BOARD(470 MKF)…
I DID REPLACE ITS ON COUPLE NEW ONE(1000 MKF).
AND SET A POWER + AND - 15 VOLT AT ONCE.
AND THE MOOG START TO BEING TUNED PERFECTLY.
I TURNED ALMOST EVERYTHING EXEPT AN EMPHASIS.
I FOUND THERE WAS NOTHING ,JUST BLACK HOLE.
I LOOKED INSIDE BUT THERE NO ANY POT INSIDE!
AND I DID NOT EVEN TRY TO TUNE TEMPERATURE TRIMMING…
IT SEEMS TO ME COMPLICATED..
