Hello everyone, I am new to modular synthesis and I was wondering how to patch the model 15’s gate controls. I managed to patch the pitch controls correctly but I need gate control as well. Please help me out.
I haven’t seen the app but you’ll want to patch the Trig 1 Cinch Jones output in the “Controller Outputs” section (bottom right) into one or both of Envelope generators Cinch Jones inputs. I assume the app has an onscreen keyboard which is logically plugged into the virtual ‘back’ of the Model 15 which brings the CV Pitch and S-trig to the front.
On the bigger Modulars (35/55) there is built in switching which by default is connected to the OSCs and Env gens.
You can also connect the S-trig output into the clamping feature of the 921 OSC which essentially resets the waveform, useful when running it as an LFO.
