I came across this mod that was done in Denmark and thought it was pretty rad.

It takes some balls to gut and mod a voyager to this extent, but the results and sound clips are awesome. ![]()

Wow, very “THIS IS SPARTAAAA!”
Somewhat like the mods/hacks I’m doing with the Moogertron (it’s coming along slowly). But I’m not sure I could do it to a stock Voyager; you’d lose all of the patch storage to start with.
So he went beyond the basic connectivity afforded by VX-351 and has controls and inputs for each OSC individually in addition to the two VCFs (dual low and low/high pass)? plus pulled VCA? Is this ‘just’ the analog board?
Thats cool, but what about the Mod Busses, audio input and cv outputs? Theres a bit more space to fill that puppy up. I wonder what became of the touchpad, Midi control.
Great design! All that silver looks like an incubator or an autoclave or something like that.
YIKES !!!
Just…THAT took some, er, Nerve.
But please add some WOOD.
That is a bit of sacrilege, turning a Moog synth into a Eurorack…with no wood. lolol. I do like it though.
Eric
Gutting a used RME, would also probably be cheaper than Eurorack modules of the same quality ![]()
Wow…I’d hate to wire all that up… ![]()
if it works , give me a couple or 8.
'll sell my modular instead. great , moog modular in return for a fraction of the costs of the old stuff
I got plans to do that with an OB-X voicecard.
I bought a four voice OB-X and found some voicecards to expand it to full eight voice.
One of the sellers packed an extra voicecard. Can’t make a nine voice OB-X so I am going to use the extra one for some experiments.
