Moog MG-1 Modification: Switch to disable LFO to OSC1

Hi Guys,

I apologize if this has already been answered, I did use the search but have been unable to find a hit.

I discovered an MG-1 on the internet where the owner had installed a switch allowing to toggle whether the LFO modulation is sent to both OSC1+2 (which is the default for unmodified MG-1’s) or switch it to only modulate OSC2 (which is fantastic for getting a really biting/metallic sound when used with Oscillator Sync).

However, I cannot find out HOW to do this. Does anyone have any guidance on how to do this?

I made this mod permanent, without adding a switch. I never found the stock function very useful

I removed R70, then connected a 6K resistor between the bottom hole from R70 and the bottom leg of R27
