moog labyrinth with daw

Hi! i am new to semi-modular system and i have a labyrinth
i want to use labyrinth as like other synths and wanna use my daw piano roll for my labyrinth.

so i have sub37 and it works for it but my labyrinth doesn’t get midi signal from my daw

i am using fl studio and i set my arturia keysteb on port 2 and connected them with midi to trs a type

so if anybody knows how to use labyrinth with daw please let me know

You need to check:

1.) …whether the Labyrinth MIDI RX contact assignment fits to the DAW MIDI output contact assignment. There is a good chance to find that out as there are only three contacts: CURRENT SOURCE, CURRENT SINK and SHIELD. You can play around with different combinations.

2.) Does your DAW send corrct MIDI messages? Check with another instrument.

Hi,

I have a similar issue:

  • I can play the Labyrinth with the keyboard connected to the MIDI IN of the computer manually
  • When hitting play in the DAW, Labyrinth starts the internal sequencer
    → but Labyrinth doesn’t pick up a sequence that I programmed in the DAW, no matter to what the “CV quatize scale” is set to

how do I switch the internal sequencer to teh DAW sequence?
