Moog Grandmother MIDI issue

Hi,
New here, hope you can help.
I’ve got a Moog Grandmother running through Logic Pro. I was getting this weird noise coming out of it which made it unplayable. So I did a firmware update, and the noise disappeared. No clue as to what went on there, but I’m not very technically minded to be honest.
Anyway, since the update, I don’t seem to be able to reconnect the Moog to the corresponding MIDI channel. I’ve tried the manual, pressed HOLD/SYNC and gone through all the available MIDI channels, 1-16, no joy.
I suspect it’s something in the Logic settings, but I can’t get my head around MIDI channels, it’s arcane art to me.

Hoping someone can help, I’ve attached a screenshot.

If a Moog Grandmother stops responding to all MIDI channels after a firmware update, the issue is usually caused by a corrupted global settings register or an incomplete SysEx data packet transmission. The Grandmother uses a multi-step update process (Invalidate, Erase, Flash). If the MIDI buffer drops even a single byte during this sequence, the MIDI communication module crashes while the analog engine continues to work.

Hi, thanks for the reply. As I said.I’m not a very tech savvy person, but I get the general idea of what you mean. What can I do to remedy it? Another update attempt?

Yes, that I would try first. Perhaps that solves the problem.
