Moog GM: Firmware update problems

I’m trying to update the firmware on my Moog Grandmother and have run into an issue where the unit now appears stuck in bootloader mode.

Here’s exactly what happened:

  1. I downloaded firmware v1.3 from the Moog website and used SysEx Librarian on macOS to transfer the files.

  2. I sent the files in this order: Invalidate → Erase → firmware_v1_1_3.syx.

  3. After sending the firmware file, the ARP light began blinking red continuously and did not stop.

  4. I power-cycled the Grandmother and tried again using a slower SysEx transfer speed.

  5. The result was the same: continuous red blinking on the ARP light.

  6. I then downloaded the older firmware v1.1 and attempted the update again.

  7. This produced the same result (red blinking).

  8. During troubleshooting, I noticed that the Moog Global Settings app reported that firmware v1.3 is required, while the currently installed firmware was shown as v1.1.

  9. I then used the Erase and Invalidate files from firmware v1.1, followed by sending firmware v1.3 again.

  10. After this attempt, the ARP light no longer blinks red, but now flashes orange continuously.

  11. Most recently, on power-up, the ARP light is now alternating between red and green.

Thank you for any help!!
