Some friends and I did a Christmas song for a radio station here in Birmingham, AL. It isn’t a synth based song, but we did use a Sub Phatty for some cool parts. I am really a guitar player, but I love my Sub and my friends just had to have it on the track. I hope you enjoy. It’s my first recording of synth.
We used it to double the melody in the intro with some fat, buzzy bass. The tone can really be heard at the end of the intro. Then for the string parts in the rest (which actually sound more like a flute with heavy reverb.
I am not smart enough to sync anything or run midi so I actually had to play the parts! HAHA. Anyway, I first stepped up to a keyboard about 3 months ago and it’s also my first time touching a synth so I’m like a proud new daddy and wanted to share. I hope you like it.
