Anybody beside me, when searching for all things “moog” on ebay, getting tired of that bollywood yankee slicker who has been relisting his “disco records” for over a YEAR…?
…and has ZERO to do with moog…?
I use the phrase in the title for search keywords because I got tired of seeing his ugly face.
I get tired of people applying the word “Moog” to something that’s not, period. Like sellers who put a cluster of “Moog ARP Oberheim” words on a crappy Alesis ROMpler.
Living in the Toronto area it’s a big problem too on Craigslist, since there is a local music shop called Moog Audio (it’s a good store, and despite the fact that they are not directly affiliated with Moog Music they do carry Moog products - it’s all rather confusing). A lot of people will post used gear and mention the price they paid new at Moog Audio, or what it costs new at MA, etc. This generates a large number of false hits when searching the local CL ads.
