What would be the fair market value (ballpark) of a non-working Moog 1150 ribbon controller, if one was to be found?

Yes, I found one. Personal contact. Not listed anywhere, much less e-bay. The guy is asking a lot of money but I am tempted to go for it.
Do you need to have a Moog? What about a brand new Walking Stick? (No idea on the size or cost.)
Well, I wouldn’t mind a new ribbon controller for my Voyager, however my mind is pretty much set on the 1150, particularly the one I just spotted. I can’t say too much for now, but although the 1150 is not working, let me just say that it comes VERY WELL accessorized. 
Still surfing to get more info. Now who would like to spend a day (or a month) in this studio ?
