Mono output or Stereo?

What are you guys using? Being a monophonic instrument are there any benefits in going stereo here or does it depend on the type of sounds your striving for (i.e bass - mono, effects - stereo, pads - stereo, etc)?

I guess I could just go stereo on the outputs and switch tracks from mono to stereo vice versa in a logic or cubase sequencer. I’m just running low on inuputs to my audio interface.

I’m going to have a go at outputting the sounds in different directions. i.e. take the left output and put it in the mixer, and set it to pan all the way to the right, and do the opposite with the right output. I want to try different effects just for fun.

Usually I output the Voyager in Mono.

Output in “stereo”, then turn the spacing knob , you’ll notice that one filter is on the “left” the other is on the “right”.

Am I correct in my belief that the Dual Filter Spacing control is the only “on board” control that can affect the L/R outputs and that there are no other facilities for assigning different outputs to the L/R channels ?

K

I think at this time the spacing is the only thing to affect the L/R output. If you look in the menus you can have the LFO control spacing, or the touch pad…

Thanks guys. Kinda gives me an idea of how to use those outputs.

YOu can also effect the panning in the mod bus.
