Model 15 App badly needs multi-knob control

Just bought this app for iOS and it’s a total bummer we can’t use multiple knobs at the same time. I was so happy seeing how well it fits in vertical position on 12.9" ipads, but this? Sorry to say, but it absolutely breaks the immersion and unnecessarily limits how I would play on an actual synthesizer. Yes, I know I can use an external midi cotroller, but come on.

Moog, maybe it’s time to add it? It works so great in both Model D and Animoog Z. Please, make this app a 10/10.

What do others think? Are you with me on this?

I easily use the external synth and map knobs in 15 to sliders.. I’m really enjoying the experience.. the model 15 makes it’s sounds and sound changes while my synthesizer does it’s own sounds and I mix them and external record all of it..

I hope it’s okay to add the Link?? My audio is free ..

I had an entire solution all typed out, but it seems the Forum timed me out before I posted it.

The way to control multiple knobs simultaneously in the Model 15 app is with an expression pedal connected to your MIDI controller. By default, your controller is probably set to use CC # 11.

With MIDI Wrench running on your screen, sweep your expression pedal down and up and see what MIDI Wrench shows. It will show you the CC # it’s using and you’ll see the Values changing, probably from 0 to 127. With the pedal all the way up, MIDI wrench should show a Value: of 0 and with it all the way down a Value: of 127. The most recent value will be the one a the top of the MIDI Wrench window, as the data changes and scrolls down the screen as you move the pedal.

If your pedal is not responding to your sweep, then check your MIDI controller’s Manual and see how to set it to a CC #.

With the expression pedal working, open the Model 15 and go into: Settings, MIDI, Map CCs.

It will show you the app with it’s current CC #s mapped on each control. Tap on a Knob you want to control and sweep your expression pedal with your foot to re-map the on-screen control. You should see its # change to your Expresion pedal’s assigned #. Repeat that on each control you want to manipulate simultaneously.

Once you’ve completed that last step, exit the Settings. Now watch the knobs you mapped and they should rotate as you use the expression pedal.

That’s how you accomplish what you’re trying to do.
