Mod Rate Changing Arp Rate

Hi all,

I’m having trouble figuring out how to set up a patch in the Slim Phatty so that when running the arpeggiator the Modulation LFO Rate doesn’t change the speed of the arp. Once the arp is engaged the Value knob changed the tempo, so I don’t know why the LFO Rate knob would be doing the same. In the Master section the only options I see for LFO Synch and Arp Set-Up is either MIDI (which I’m not using right now) or Internal. As both are set to Internal, my assumption is that this is the link between the two. Is there any way to disconnect the two? Thanks!

value knob adjusts arp rate in tenths of a BPM, modulation knob adjusts arp rate in whole BPM.

On the Slim Phatty, you can free up the Modulation knob by pressing Cursor so the cursor isn’t under arp rate BPM… in that case Modulation knob reverts to its normal functions (mod knob only adjusts arp rate while cursor is under the arp rate BPM)
