Minitaur with Hammond xpk-100 pedals or 12step?

Hi, is this the forum for blonde questions? First post…

I have got a minitaur and I have been offered some Hammond xpk-100 footpedals to use with it, but they would be sent in the post so I can’t try them in advance. Is there any reason why this combination wouldn’t be a good one?

For about the same price I can get a new Keith Mcmillen12step, with midiexpander. But for some reason I am attracted to more traditional organ-type pedals.

Does anybody have advice? Which would be the best solution? Thanks in advance

Def get the Hammond xpk. It’s like the Taurus and Taurus III which is like the original 1 octave Hammond pedals that are on the old Hammond M100 drawbar tonewheel organ from the 60’s.

The 12 step is low-cost and gimmicky in my opinion; no comparison. If you compare feature for feature, you may find something on the 12 step that is appealing but to me (bass player), foot feel is #1. The spec for the Hammond says it can manage presets and transpose, the basics.

Thanks for the reply, I think I agree with you. It’s hard to get info about this particular model online, there’s a lot more about Roland pedals.
