Is it normal to get crackling at the audio output when touching/moving a connected midi plug? The slightest nudge of the Minitaur causes loud crackling and the midi in socket is definitely the source. I wonder if something is shorting to ground somewhere? Anyone else having this issue?
Thankfully, not an issue with the Minitaur itself. I discovered a ground loop in my effects chain, which was somehow playing havoc with midi ground, hence the crackling jack. Problem solved.
