Minitaur Editor Strange behaviour mac

Hi, I’ve contacted Moog Support about this but have had no reply in two weeks. Is their support usually so slow?

I am trying to use the Minitaur Editor on Apple Monterey with Ableton Live 11, both are the latest versions. My minotaur and Editor are also both the latest versions.

All the presets from Moog in the Editor are listed as KEYS in the preset browser. Also, the Presets on the Hardware side of the editor, when I double click them they just change to a different preset name in the editor, sometimes they change to INIT, sometimes to a different patch.

Does anyone know a fix or have any experience with the same problems?

No answers here? Same as Moog support just never responded. I currently have problems with the moogerfooger plugins and support is once again just not answering me. How does moog have such terrible support???

The presets section of the editor is very flakey.

I opened mine today to find that all the presets were under KEYS. (KEYS wasn’t there a couple days ago). Along with that, all my user presets have magically disappeared form the editor and the hard drive. Great.

I wouldn’t hold your breath waiting to hear from tech support.

Hi, I’m in the same boat.

I just got a Minitaur this week and trying to manage the presets with the editor was a real PITA!

What ever I do, sending presets from the editor to the Minitaur works erratically. For example, it refuses systematically to replace the preset 000 (is there a lock or something?). I create a preset, save it in a User Forder, then I get presets from the Minitaur, slide over the first preset (000). Its name change to my new preset and the name becomes in italic. I then send it to the Minitaur, the name becomes standard, I double-click to be sure it’s selected. But the sound isn’t the one I created and saved.

Another thing, when I Get all the presets from the Minitaur, they appear in the editor’s Hardware list, but if I double-click any of these to select a new sound to try, then the name change and it’s not the expected sound at all, what’s happening?

I don’t find many good informations about this strange behavior. It’s very annoying.
