Minitaur CV VCO Mix question

hi there,

can’t figure out if I’m doing something wrong there or why the little one behaves like that.
whenever I’m feeding the minitaur pitch and gate CV the vco1/2 mix section has no effect whatsoever (both at 100%), switching to midi everythings fine again. Anyone know why it’s doing that, thought the volume cv default is triggering the vca right? think it’s a whole lot easier to tune the modular against one osc and bringing in nr 2 afterwards.

ok, having a loose midi cable plugged in at the same time as cv cables did the trick. after powering the unit off and on again now without the midi cable attached the vco mix was adjustable with only cv cables plugged in. strange and I’m kinda skeptical about the minitaur’s built in randomizer but it worked, so if anyone ever ran into the same problem here you go.
