Minitaur Connection Issues?

Hi, I’m new to analog synths and just picked up a MT. I’m running a mac with Ableton and using an akai mph 49 as my controller with a Presonus Firebox as my audio interface. I can get midi info to my MT and can monitor with headphones but no audio through my speakers? With audio out from the MT to my persons it only plays out mono? Do I need to get a mono to stereo adapter? Shouldn’t my usb from the MT and firewire from my mac to Presonus be enough to hear audio back? Please help… really looking forward to using my MT properly! Thanks.

Moog synths DO NOT pass audio over USB -
You need to use the AUDIO OUT jack of the Minitaur to route the audio through your audio interface.

Most of the Moog synths - Minitaur included - are MONO.
When you listen through headphones, you are actually hearing a MONO signal that is just being routed to both headphone L/R circuits.

It is NOT recommended that you use the headphone jack for connecting the Minitaur’s audio into your computer or sound system, due to differences in audio levels between the AUDIO OUT and headphone jack. Use the AUDIO OUT, then use the interface and software settings to route your Minitaur’s audio as needed.

Have fun-
The Minitaur is a VERY cool little synth!!
