I would please need some clarifications about my Minimoog voltages CVs Inputs like Filter,Vca, Osc Pitch, if anyone can help!
What is the CVs voltage range of the Minimoog D early osc (not RA) at its CVs inputs, +0v to +10v or -5v to +5v?
If the normal range is +0v to +10v would that be dangerous for the circuits of the minimoog to receive at its CV inputs negative voltages (bipolar) from Expert Sleepers and Motu 828 mk II DC Outputs as an example?
The oscillator board will respond to negative CV. I know this because my Lintronics MIDI retrofit extends the pitch range such that it would only be possible with negative CVs.
But since the model D power rails are +/-10volts, I would advise not going over +/-7volts for CV. That’s enough safety margin to prevent the opamps from latching up.
