Midi problem

Hi all,

Just updated to firmware 1.1.20 and hoped this problem would be fixed but it is not. I cannot use the Sub37 as a midi keyboard in Reaper anymore-- no midi note information is coming through the system. Prior to installing the midi drivers, firmware and editor, I could play VST instruments with the Sub37 keyboard.

My buddy was over here with his Sub37 a few days back and was encountering the same problem in Ableton Live. Perhaps he’ll chime in on this thread. Is there some configuration I need to do on my end, or is this a bug?

Works fine here with 0.9.41 / 1.1.20.

Reinstall the moog USB midi driver, unplug and plug USB cable, restart and try again.


In Reaper:

Options → Preferences → MIDI Devices
doubleclick Moog Sub 37 In and select the two top checkbox , in both IN and OUT lists

Rightclick the multitrack and choose “insert virtual instrument on a new track”.

Click the Input list and choose:
Input:MIDI → All MIDI Inputs → All Channels

If that doesn’t work, restore defaults in the Sub 37.
