How do I stop the midi signal from the voyager killing the audio of my akai z8 sampler every time I change program.
The midi output is the same for the output signal and the program change signal, both are on channel one.
I want to be able to operate my sampler from the moog without having the audio of the sampler interrupted every time I change program on the voyager. Is this possible.
It is very normal for synths with midi to send out program change commands when changing the program.
Some synths offer a function to stop listening to these commands when receiving them. The Voyager does so (MASTER menue item 1.4).
Maybe there is a function like this available for the Akai you use.
