MIDI Murf real power requirements?

Hi all,

i guess specs for the MIDI Murf are wrong: 600mA and it still does not power up.

Should i use more, 1A or something?

Nah,

Check the polarity (tip positive)

DC not AC

Regulated adapter or the one it came with

Hope you haven’t fried your mMuRF!

Everything is on specs: 9V, dc, center positive: tried with 400mA and nothing, 600mA and still nothing.

Possibly it draws something more on startup and then drops down to 300mA?

Yep, regulated: i’m using outputs from my Burkey Flatliner, 200mA each, in parallel.

Solved, seems the pedal draws high current on startup, over 600mA actually.
